AmpShell v1.3.8
AmpShell v1.3.8 A lean and fast DOSBox frontend, for Windows The purpose of AmpShell is to make you run games in DOSBox with a simple double click. It saves the time and trouble you can have with DOS commands. Requirements None, as .NET 5 is used. The application is shipped as a single executable. For legacy Windows users, .NET 2.0 is used and required. Features Fast Startup Hate having to wait for something? That's why AmpShell is simple and stupid - so it can bootup faster than you can say 'snap!' No Install AmpShell has no dependency, and therefore no installer. Just download it, and you are ready to go. AutoConfig DOSBox is automatically found, as is its configuration file. Drag and Drop You can create a new entry by dropping a file or link into the main window. Portable Mode This program can also be used on a removable media, no setup required. To that end, a 'Portable Pack' (AmpShell + DOSBox preconfigured) is also provided. Multiple DOSBox support The emulator we all know and love has a lot of variations out there (DOSBox SVN, ECE, SVN Daum, DOSBox-X, ...), so that's why you can use another DOSBox executable and config files on a per-game basis if you need to. Command Line options In this mode, AmpShell will launch the game, and exit. The GUI will be not shown. -g to run a game (with its name or main executable path) -s to run its setup utility -v for verbosity This download is for the version that will find and use a pre-installed DOSBox so you will need DOSBox to already be installed. Get DosBox here If you want a version of AmpShell that includes DOSBox, download here. Click here to visit the author's website.

Capture the Flag v3.2
Capture the Flag v3.2 A blast from your 1990s past! "This wilderness version of hide-and-seek remains the most exquisite shareware strategy game for the PC. What makes it so great? Maybe it's the artful melding of high detail and ease of use... Or Maybe it's the lovely artwork. This game is so intriguing that you won't want to stop playing." -Electronic Entertainment Magazine pg. 63, Oct 94 issue. Note: You will need to use DOSBox to run this on a modern computer.

D-Fend Reloaded 1.4.3
D-Fend Reloaded 1.4.3 D-Fend Reloaded is a graphical environment for DOSBox 0.74. DOSBox emulates a complete computer including the DOS commandline and allows to run nearly all old DOS based games on modern hardware with any of the newer Windows versions. With DOSBox there is no need to worry about memory managers or free conventional RAM, but the setup of DOSBox is still a bit complicated. The configuration of DOSBox via textbased setup files might be difficult for beginners. D-Fend Reloaded may help and create these files for you. Additionally the D-Fend Reloaded installation package contains DOSBox (including all lanuage files currently available), so there is only one installation to be run and no need to link D-Fend Reloaded with DOSBox manually. DOSBox v0.74-3
DOSBox v0.74-3 You can "re-live" the good old days with the help of DOSBox It can run plenty of the old classics that don't run on your new computer! DOSBox is a DOS-emulator that uses the SDL-library which makes DOSBox very easy to port to different platforms. DOSBox also emulates CPU:286/386 realmode/protected mode, Directory FileSystem/XMS/EMS, Tandy/Hercules/CGA/EGA/VGA/VESA graphics, a SoundBlaster/Gravis Ultra Sound card for excellent sound compatibility with older games... DOSBox is totally free of charge and OpenSource. DOSBox 0.74-3 has been released! A security release for DOSBox 0.74: Fixed that a very long line inside a bat file would overflow the parsing buffer. (CVE-2019-7165 by Alexandre Bartel) Added a basic permission system so that a program running inside DOSBox can't access the contents of /proc (e.g. /proc/self/mem) when / or /proc were (to be) mounted. (CVE-2019-12594 by Alexandre Bartel) Several other fixes for out of bounds access and buffer overflows. Some fixes to the OpenGL rendering. The game compatibility should be identical to 0.74 and 0.74-2. It's recommended to use config -securemode when dealing with untrusted files. This download is for the Windows version. If you need the MacOS version, download here. Click here to visit the author's website.
